Fast response with high accuracy, the Extech IR270 is ideal for quick checks of multiple points in a process or for detecting temperature spikes. Easy-to-program High/Low alarm with three-color display and audible alarm measures non-contact temperatures up to 1202°F (650°C).

- Take non-contact temperature measurements from -4 to 1202°F (-20 to 650°C)
- Maximum resolution 0.1°F/°C and basic accuracy ±(1% reading + 2°F/1°C)
- Distance to point (target) ratio 12:1
- The built-in laser pointer identifies the target area with an on/off switch
- Programmable High/Low alarm with beeper — three-color LCD display changes to Blue backlight when reading is below the low alarm setting and Red backlight when reading
- exceeds the High set point
- Adjustable emissivity (0.10 to 1.00) improves measurement accuracy
- Record/Remember up to 20 readings
- Automatic Data Hold when trigger is released
