Dekko DT-2236B Digital Tachometer is a testing tool designed to measure the rotational speed of an object, such as a gauge in a car that measures revolutions per minute (RPM) of the engine crankshaft. The word tachometer comes from the Greek words tachos which means speed and metron which means to measure.
These devices in the past were made with dials, hands that showed the current reading and signs indicating safe and dangerous levels. At present, digital tachometers have been produced which provide precise and accurate numerical readings compared to using a dial and needle.
