HD500 dilengkapi layar LCD tiga sisi yang besar dengan lampu latar, port USB internal, minimum/maksimum, penyimpanan data, dan fungsi mati otomatis. Termometer Inframerah internal untuk pengukuran suhu tanpa kontak hingga 932°
