Portable water quality total suspended solids turbidity test analyzer measures the principle of scattered light in 90° direction according to ISO 7072 standard. Combined with scattered light method and transmitted light method, infrared light source is used to eliminate noise and the measurement results are more accurate and reliable. The instrument has built-in 90° and 180° dual detectors. The 90° detector receives scattered light and the 180° detector receives transmitted light. The intensity of scattered light and transmitted light is proportional to the turbidity in the sample into the converted turbidity of the water sample.
