Viral DNA Extraction Kit – Boiling Method

Intended Use

This kit is intended for isolation of DNA of viruses, bacteria or human cells from human feces leach liquor, swabs, gastric mucosa and cervical cytological specimens. DNA purified by the kit is suitable for downstream applications such as PCR analysis, clone and sequence analysis. The kit is used in the detection of pathogenic microorganisms, forensic analysis, blood typing, and detection of genetic mutations.

Principle

This kit uses agents such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and ethylphenyl polyethylene glycol(NP-40) to release the nucleic acid from the virus particles, bacteria or human cells after heating, while Chelex-100 resin binding to cations including Mg2+, which is an essential cofactor for DNase. Nucleic acids is purified after centrifugation.

Viral DNA / RNA Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit – Magnetic Bead Method

Intended Use

This kit can be used to quickly extract viral DNA and RNA from a variety of liquid samples such as human serum and plasma. The purified viral nucleic acid can be directly used in downstream analysis, such as PCR amplification, cloning, and sequence analysis. It is suitable for the diagnosis of pathogen, forensic analysis and genetic mutations detection. This kit can be used manually or automatically with applicable extractors to obtain DNA and RNA within 40 minutes.

Principle

Under the condition of Chaotropic salts (GH, GI, etc.) and an external magnetic field, the superparamagnetism of magnetic beads leads to the adsorption of nucleic acid. After properly washing, the nucleic acid is released in the elution buffer.

Intended Use

This kit is manually used to extract DNA and RNA within 15-40 minutes.

Principle

This kit uses G lysis method to release the nucleic acid of pathogen in the sample. At the same time, the nucleic acid is adsorbed by the silica gel membrane, purified by washing and obtained by elution.
